Biography
I earned my Bachelor’s in Physics from Sharif University in Tehran, Iran, where I worked in the Optical Tweezers lab, stretching red blood cells and modeling them as spring-mass systems.
For my master’s, I moved to Italy to study Physics at the University of Padova. My master’s thesis focused on droplet microfluidics. In more detail, I studied the mixing of micro-metric particles in droplets, for the purpose of extracellular vesicle purification from human plasma.
Currently, I’m developing a high-throughput microfluidics-assisted 3D bioprinter for the fabrication and screening of artificial skeletal muscle tissue.
My expertise includes Microfluidic design and fabrication techniques, 3D bioprinting, Hydrogel synthesis, microscopy, and a bit of Ansys simulation.
